He’s won 3 times since we’ve been running him, which is quite a thing since the horse runs without a human rider.” City officials stated that tourism is an issue for this event, which draws hundreds of spectators in a city that once relied on paper bib manufacturing factories for employment but now struggles with more than 40% unemployment. “As long as they come, the horses will run” vowed Mayor Gracewood.
