American Idol is a Bomb

American Idol

American Idol

(TV) The tenth season of American Idol has ceased offering any surprises to the mostly absent audience. Sure, measurements of a 6% or so decline in audience numbers still keeps American Idol in top position for viewers but with nothing new, except a change in order of finalists, can we really expect this show to still entertain as it has?
Sadly, the answer is no.
People watching have a comfort level with Randy Jackson remaining as a judge, but the lack of surprises from the remaining judges (Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez) will chase the viewers away. By the end of this season’s competition the only viewers will be the friends and family of the finalists.

Prince’s “Purple Rain” Turns 25

Britney Spears family day

(BNS) – A representative for Britney Spears has revealed that the quick timing of her future marriage is due not for love as is being widely reported, but because the popular star is pregnant. “Britney is moving forward with this marriage to keep her popularity high” stated the unnamed source, “and to amend her New Year’s marriage that was quickly annulled.” It is felt by her publicity people that should Ms. Spears become a single mother her top billing will quickly erode on a backlash of negative comments and sentiments. Britney could become a center of controversy for her lifestyle choices and the messages she is sending to the youth of today. Marriage will solidify her popularity, allow her to grow and mature as an artist and a person, as well as take a much-needed break from a tough touring schedule without being seen as ‘breaking down’ from the strain her popularity demands. And make her a Momma “hopefully putting the needs of someone else before her own, finally,” finished the unnamed source.
